Population and decay of the ArICl(ion-pair states) van der Waals complexes

The article presents the analysis of ArICl(IP,vIP,nIP) population and decay at energies lower than ArICl(E,vE = 0,nE) dissociation limit (IP E0+, D?2, ?1), vIP 0, 1, nIP are quantum numbers van der Waals (vdW) modes). It shows that lifetimes determined spectral ranges where ArICl(E?X, D??A?, ??A) luminescence takes place, same, ? 20.3 ± 1.0 ns, i.e. strongly mixed complex states populated in ArICl(IP,vIP,nIP ? A,vA,nA) transitions, principal channel is emission. We have estimated ArICl(E0+,vE 0) binding energy studied higher limit. Our research wave functions corresponding to specific vdW mode depend on mode, but they approximately constant some ranges. decays free ICl(E0+,vE, D?2,vD? ?1,v?) molecules. probabilities these channels shown all ICl(IP) under action Ar atom, this atom does not behave complexes as a ‘spectator’ it occurs RgI2(IP) states.
